About
Lower the stakes, and people start talking.
Amicabl exists for the disputes that don’t need to be formal yet, and the people who’d rather not make them so.
The problem
Two colleagues stop speaking. Neither wants to file a formal complaint, for fear it will make things worse. So it waits, and it hardens.
Formal routes like grievances and tribunals have their place, but they tend to raise the stakes. By the time a disagreement reaches them, it’s much harder to settle.
The idea
Amicabl offers anonymous, guided conversations instead. Each person gives their side privately, on their own schedule. Inflammatory language is filtered before the other person reads it, and the negotiation moves one step at a time, double-blind.
AI helps steady the wording of each message, keeps the conversation within its structure and helps each side say what they need without escalating.
Where it’s at
Amicabl is live and in use today. Every engagement is scoped with the organisation and agreed in writing before work begins.
What we hold to
Four principles behind every conversation.
Privacy first
People give their side on their own, in their own time.
Safe to speak
Anonymity protects people from retaliation.
Lower, not higher
Take the heat out of the words, not the meaning.
One step at a time
A clear structure, so nobody is rushed or ambushed.
